Home Port 2.0

Hardly a year goes by, and it's time once again to find a new home port!
Why? – "Didn't you just move last year?"

In short: After our old office in Munich-Schwabing fell victim to the effects of the modern urban housing market (gentrification, renovation, and horrendous rental prices up to €40 per m²), we had to find a new, even better-suited "home" after just one year, and we succeeded. It was a long journey, but we have finally arrived well, right by the Isar, specifically at Ickstattstr. 7. From there, we will strive to critically and conscientiously do our best for an ever-faster digitalizing society and economy.

A Unique News Format – Dossier Digital

With the decision to gradually build our first own news format from April 2016 (www.dossier-digital.de –> Click here!) and to cross-finance it – just like all major publishers do – through classic Corporate Publishing and gradual Content Marketing for small to medium-sized enterprises, we now face the exciting challenges of a developing digital world and a society that is hardly willing to pay for content today! Can this even work?

Savoir Vivre – Writing Like God in France

The starting shot for the first own format was fired during an agency trip to the wonderful Strasbourg, where in May 2016 we converted a highly recommended AirBnB apartment in the middle of the old town into a mobile brainstorming editorial office for 4 days. The result was a solid foundation of initial articles for our "Dossier Digital" as well as prepared content for clients of our new "Content-Factory", for which it was necessary to prepare hard-to-digest "specialist content" for a broader target audience in a channel-appropriate manner and to make it visually appealing.

A Guiding Principle from France for Dossier-Digital:

Dossier Digital delivers analyses, reports, and essays from the world of digital transformation – calm, critical, and analytical. The magazine is aimed at readers who want to discuss digitalization and its impact on society, economy, and politics objectively, away from major trends and hypes. Dossier Digital provides the second glance – that of the sober observer on the digitalized world.

Technology without Hypes

Our motivation? The belief that good content wants to be read.
The journalistic goal of Dossier Digital is to break out of the current spiral of outbidding, consisting of clickbaiting, content overflow, and trash, and instead bring truly relevant content more into the public focus, rather than gadget and fanboy journalism.

Whether the path from an agency to a media company will ultimately succeed, we will try to shed some light on here in this blog and welcome feedback and critical suggestions.
