Medienstürmer and MSO become partners
In many companies, audits, actions and approvals are still handled through Excel lists and emails. MSO Solutions GmbH from Munich has built software that brings these processes together in one place. We are now working with MSO on a joint offering: the processes live in MSO, we connect MSO to the company's other systems and add AI with Kasimir.
What MSO does
Companies use MSO to manage strategies, projects, actions and processes in one system. Workflows are set up without programming, and companies can adjust them themselves later on. Ready-made templates help with getting started, for example for audits, 8D complaints, risks, training, onboarding or investment requests.
MSO has its roots in consulting. Roland Kölsch set up as an independent quality management consultant in 1996 and began using his own software in client projects from 2002. In 2007 he founded MSO Solutions GmbH, which he now runs together with Felix Kölsch. MSO is ISO 9001 certified and holds the TISAX label, the automotive industry's standard for information security.
What we are working on together
The joint offering is meant to help companies introduce MSO, connect it to their existing IT and use it with AI. We are working out the details with MSO right now.
MSO provides the software and the expertise in management systems: templates, roles and permissions, setup, training and consulting.
Medienstürmer takes care of what is needed around it: integration with Microsoft 365, CRM and other systems, automation, AI with Kasimir and the communication during the rollout.

AI with Kasimir
At the last MSO user meeting, AI was the main topic in almost every conversation. We bring Kasimir to the table for this, the AI platform we develop and operate together with Viedev GmbH. MSO and Kasimir are connected in both directions.
AI directly in MSO
The AI function built into MSO can optionally run on Kasimir in the background. MSO users keep working in MSO as usual and do not need another tool for it. One example: the AI checks an investment request for completeness and plausibility before it goes on for approval. The decision is still made by a person.
MSO in Kasimir
The other way round, MSO can be connected to Kasimir. In chat, Kasimir can read, create and update entries in MSO. In workflows, MSO can be combined with other steps, for example Outlook or a message in Microsoft Teams.
In both cases, the data is processed in line with the GDPR. It stays in the EU, by default in a data centre in Germany, and is not used to train models. Many companies care about that, especially when it comes to audit and quality data.
