Senior Project & Account Manager
What to expect
Do you want to shape not just projects, but the structure of an entire department? At Medienstürmer, we define customer service through the customer experience (CX). We are looking for a strategic mind who, as a Senior Account Manager, will set excellent standards, lead a small team and, in the medium term, work with management to establish and expand our comprehensive portfolio management (PMO). As a digital experience agency specialising in IT and B2B communication and application development, we offer you a beautiful office in a great location, fantastic colleagues and a diverse range of tasks.
Your responsibilities
1.Key Account Management
You are the main point of contact for our key accounts and maintain an overview of the associated projects.
You define the requirements for our implementation teams and keep a tight grip on budgets, time reports and quality checks.
You will be independently responsible for managing medium-sized 360-degree projects with a focus on content marketing, communication, development and digitalisation.
You proactively provide input in customer consulting and further develop the portfolio together with our implementation teams and customers.
2. Team-Leadership
You will assume personnel responsibility for a team of two project managers, support their professional development and coordinate resource planning.
You act as a mentor and ensure that the defined CX philosophy, which you have further developed, is put into practice in your team.
As a bridge builder between the team, customers and stakeholders, you are a confident moderator at all levels. You know how to motivate people, drive processes forward through constructive dialogue and, even in difficult situations, transform conflicts into solutions in an appreciative manner.
3. Strategic development of the PMO
You will work closely with the management team to manage and develop the agency's entire project portfolio.
You have the opportunity to develop into a senior PMO role and professionalise the methodological and strategic management of all agency projects.
What you should bring
Degree in project management, communications, media, business administration with a focus on marketing/project management, or a comparable qualification
Experience: Several years of solid experience in senior project management or account management (at least 3 years), ideally in an agency environment and with initial experience in personnel management.
Confident manner and communication skills
Hands-on approach: Despite your strategic ambitions, you are not afraid to take the lead as a first responder in day-to-day operations.
Strategic vision and a desire not only to utilise processes, but to optimise them for the entire agency.
Confidence in the application of PM tools and the aspiration to be the harmonising entity between customer requirements and internal implementation.
Assertiveness, empathy and team orientation
Very good knowledge of German and English
What we offer
Genuine career prospects: This is not a static position. We offer you the opportunity to actively build and manage the agency's PMO in collaboration with management.
Freedom of design: Short decision-making processes and the option to implement your own structures for portfolio management.
Responsibility: Team leadership from day one in a dynamic, growing environment.
